George Mason Spoils Men's Volleyball Home Opener

Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton men's volleyball dropped its home opener to George Mason on Saturday, falling 3-1 at Dillon Gym. The Tigers won the opening set, but a tight 32-30 loss in set two deflated the Tigers and dropped them to 6-5 on the year.
Blake Robinson led the Tiger attack with 21 kills and Jason Liljestrom registered a game-high 57 assists. Princeton won set one, 30-27, but fell 32-30, 30-27 and 30-25 in the next three sets.
Dennis Alshuler had 16 kills and Brian Hamming added 12 in the loss. Princeton finished with a .246 attack percentage while George Mason finished with 65 team kills.
Princeton plays again tomorrow afternoon. The Tigers take on Harvard at 2 p.m. in Dillon Gym.
