Women's Tennis Continues Perfect Spring

The Princeton women's tennis team remained perfect this spring, winning its third consecutive match this morning by a 5-2 score over Virginia Tech at Jadwin Gymnasium. Princeton won the doubles point and claimed four of the six singles points to earn the win.
Princeton's No. 1 doubles team of Kavitha Krishnamurthy and Neha Uberoi opened the match with an 8-2 win. Virginia Tech claimed the second doubles match, but at No. 3, Alex Kobishyn and Stephanie Berg won 9-7 to earn Princeton the point.
Krishnamurthy played at No. 1 singles and earned a two set win. Uberoi also earned a two set win at No. 2. Berg played at No. 3 and despite dropping the first set, rallied to claim the win in three sets. The Hokies then picked up win at Nos. 4 and 5, but Princeton closed out the day with a two set win at No. 6 by Susan Meng.
Princeton returns to the court on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. when the Tigers take on Maryland at Jadwin Gymnasium.
