Juniata Edges Men's Volleyball In Four Games

Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton men's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Juniata on Friday night at Dillon Gym. Dennis Alshuler and Blake Robinson provided a balanced attack with 16 kills apiece, but Juniata squeaked out three games by a total of six points to earn the win.
After dropping the fist game 33-31, Princeton rallied back and took Game Two by a 30-24 score. Juniata won Game Three 30-28 and then finished off the match with a 31-29 victory in the last game.
Junior Jason Liljestrom registered 47 assists and eight digs in the loss. Alshuler led the Tigers with nine digs and assisted on five blocks. Sean Vitousek finished with a team-high nine blocks while the Tigers racked up 13 blocks as a team.
Princeton is in action again tomorrow when it faces St. Francis (Pa.) at Dillon Gym That game is slated for a 2 p.m. start.
