Sarah Fraumann Swims 1650 Freestyle At NCAA Championships

Auburn, Ala. - Sarah Fraumann placed 30th in the 1650-yard freestyle race at the 2003 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday. The Tiger junior swam a time of 16:44.48 on the final day of competition in Auburn, Ala.
Fraumann entered the championships with the 19th best time in country, swimming a 16:25.04 at the Ivy League championship meet in late February. Flaviva Rigmanti of SMU took the title with a time of 15:43.90, which was also a pool record.
The 1650 Free was Fraumann second and last event of the championships. Auburn won the team titlefor the second year in a row. Princeton finished the season unbeaten and with an Ivy Leaguecrown.
