Women's Hoops Lose Rematch At Cornell

Ithaca, N.Y. - Becky Brown led Princeton in scoring for the sixth straight game with 17 points and Katy O'Brien had 12 points off four three-pointers to go with five rebounds, five steals and four assists in Princeton's 71-61 loss at Cornell.
The Tigers fell to 6-18 overall and 3-8 in the Ivy League with their fifth straight loss since defeating Cornell 74-67 on Feb. 13. Cornell improved to 9-16 and 4-8.
Cornell led 41-25 at halftime and by 20 points with six minutes remaining before the Tigers rallied to within 10. Princeton shot 46% from the field and was 5 for 16 (31%) behind the arc while Cornell shot 39% overall and was 9 for 26 (35%) from long range. Cornell out-rebounded Princeton 43-37 and scored 20 points off 19 Tiger turnovers.
Elyse Umeda added eight points, three rebounds, three steals and two assists while Ali Smith and Maureen McCracken chipped in seven points apiece. Lauren Kilduff had a game-high 22 points for Cornell.
Princeton hosts Penn this Tuesday, March 2 at 7 p.m.
