Georgetown Tops Lightweight Crew On Lake Carnegie

Georgetown edged out the Princeton lightweight crew in the home opener for the 2003 Eastern champion Tigers. Princeton did claim wins in the second varsity and freshman races.
The Hoyas won the top race in 6:00.8, while Princeton placed second in 6:03.2. Columbia finished more than 10 seconds behind Princeton. The Tigers are off next weekend, and will row at home against Cornell and Rutgers on April 17.
