Princeton Hosts Women's Lacrosse Final Four

Princeton University is hosting the 2004 NCAA Division I women's lacrosse championships this weekend.
The top-seeded Tigers, the two-time defending champion, will play unseeded Vanderbilt Friday at 6 p.m. in the first semifinal, followed by second-seeded Virginia and unseeded Georgetown in the other semifinal at 8:30.
The winners will play Sunday at 2 p.m. for the 2004 championship. All three games will be played in Princeton Stadium.
Both semifinal games and the championship game can be heard live on Moneytalk 1350 AM in the Princeton area and on www.goprincetontigers.com. Ed Benkin will broadcast all three games. The championship game can also be seen live on College Sports Television.
Tickets are $10 per day for adults and $8 per day for students and children and $18 for adults and $14 for children for both days. There are also group rates available for groups over 25.
In addition to the lacrosse games, there will also be a pair of attractions accompanying the event. The NCAA Beyond The Game tour will be held at the Princeton baseball field and will feature a multisport interactive fair open to all ages, children and adults. Admission is free, and the Beyond The Game tour will be available Friday from 4-10, Saturday from 12-4 and Sunday from 12-5.
The YES (youth education in sports) clinic will feature lacrosse instruction Sunday prior to the championship game. The event will feature several college and high school coaches and college players and is for girls and boys ages 10-18. Registration is at 9:00, and the event runs from 9:30 to noon. Admission is free.
