Princeton, N.J. - For the second straight year, the Princeton women's golf team held off all competition and claimed first place in the Princeton Invitational at Sringdale Golf Club. After Sunday's second round, the Tigers took the top spot after a 306 to claim a 21 stroke win over Yale.
Behind, Yale, Georgetown, Princeton's second entry and Penn rounded out the top five finishers in the field of 15.
On the individual leaderboard, senior Avery Kiser shot the day's low round of 74, which when coupled with her opening-round 75 placed her at 149, three strokes ahead of Yale's January Romero. Georgetown's Christy Larrimore was third, followed by Princeton sophomore Sharla Cloutier in fourth. Two members of Princeton's second team, senior Meg Nakamura, who shot the tournament's low round of 73 on Saturday, and freshman Annika Windon tied for fifth, while Tiger freshman Annika Welander tied for seventh.
