Women's Golf Wins Rain-Shortened Princeton Invitational

Results
Inclement weather in the Northeast forced the Princeton Invitational to be shortened to 36 holes, and after the completion of two rounds Princeton was crowned team champion with a final score of 570 (+2) which was 10 shots ahead of Penn which took second at 580 (+12).
Juliet Oh of Penn and Emily James of Rutgers shared individual medalist honors with 36-hole scores of 140 (-2). Princeton's Thanana Kotchasanmanee was third at 141 (-1) while Tiger first-years Elaine Liu and Ysabel Liu were T4 at 142 (E).
Kotchasanmanee had nine birdies over her 36 holes of play, including five in the first round en route to a 70 (-1). In the second round, Kotchasanmanee had birdies on 6, 9, and 12 to get to -3 overall for the tournament before a bogey on 15 and a double on 16 dropped her to even for the tournament. She would close strong with a birdie on 18 to get to -1 for the event and one shot from sharing the lead.
Ysabel Liu led after the first round, shooting 69 (-2) in her first competitive round on her home course. A birdie to start on hole 4 was a good omen for the first round and she followed with five more birdies in her opening 18. A second round 73 (+2) dropped her into a tie for fourth place alongside her classmate.
Elaine Liu also birded her first competitive hole at Springdale, carding a 2 on the par-3 5th hole before adding birdies on 9 and 13 en route to a 70 (-1) to open her tournament. In the second round, she was -1 through 17 holes played before a double on the par-5 4th hole moved her to +1 for the round and into a tie for fourth.
