PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior Soren Thompson was named to the All-Ivy first team list in the epee after compiling a 10-1 record. Thompson is joined by fellow epee teammate Benjamin Solomon and Alejandro Bras on the first team.
Solomon repeats his first team selection from last season as he tallied an 8-4 record against Ivy opponents, while Bras was 9-3 in the foil as a sophomore.
All-Ivy status is determined by winning percentage in Ivy League matches and a minimum of 75 percent of the team's bouts must be fenced to be considered. Cornell's men and both Brown and Dartmouth's men and women do not compete in Ivy League fencing.
The men's fencing team will compete in the IFA Championships on Saturday, Feb. 26 in Providence, R.I.
