Women's Squash Opens Howe Cup With Impressive 8-1 Win Over Dartmouth

PRINCETON - The No. 4 Princeton women's squash team played its first Howe Cup match at home ever on Friday and impressed its fans with an exciting 8-1 victory over No. 5 Dartmouth. The win pushes Princeton into a semifinal Saturday with No. 1 Yale.
Princeton got three 3-2 victories, including one from sophomore No. 1 player Claire Rein-Weston, who overcame a 2-1 deficit with wins of 9-5 and 9-1 in the final two game. Freshman Christina Fast did the same thing at No. 5; after losing a tight 9-7 game in the third, she put away the final two games with match 9-1 scores. Sophomore Anina Nolan pulled out a 9-5 win in the fifth game of her match at No. 8. Princeton 8, Dartmouth 1
