Led by an impressive 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles by Darius Craton, the Princeton men's tennis team dominated Boston College, 7-0, in a match played at the Jadwin Gym tennis courts Saturday evening.
While Craton's win at No. 1 was certainly impressive, it was just one of four straight-set wins in singles for the Tigers. At No. 4, Shannon Morales was on his way to a likely straight-set win before winning by default over Derrick Chou.
Sratha Saengsuwarn and Andrew Lieu were both tested, but each won matches at Nos. 2 and 3 respectively. Saengsuwarn defeated Soma Kesthely 6-4 and 7-5, while Lieu beat Chris McCoy, 7-5 and 6-4. David Gopstein beat Jason Sechrist 6-4 in the first set before a dominating 6-1 second set gave him the match at No. 5.
The Tigers won the doubles point despite falling at No. 1. The key match there was an 8-6 win at No. 2 by Gopstein and Lieu overa Chou and Kesthely.
