No. 37 Princeton Tripped Up By No. 33 Cornell
April 10, 2026 | Men's Tennis
The script was familiar and, once again, excruciating for the Princeton men's tennis team. For the fourth time in four Ivy League matches, the difference between winning and losing was slim, and for the fourth time Princeton was on the wrong side of it, this time a 4-2 decision to Cornell Friday afternoon.
Princeton, ranked No. 37 in Division I, now has three 4-3 losses and one 4-2 loss in the league. Cornell is the highest-ranked Ivy team in this week's ITA rankings, at No. 33, with five Ivy schools between 33 and 39.
Paul Inchauspe at No. 1 singles and Jordan Reznik at No. 6 singles both won straight set matches for the Tiger points. Cornell won the doubles point and three singles matches that finished, winning two of them in a third set.
Princeton will be at No. 34 Columbia Sunday at 1.
