Harvard's women's swimming and diving team used three first-place finishes on the final night of competition to pull away from Princeton and win the 2005 Ivy League championship at DeNunzio Pool.
Princeton, who had won the previous five championships, finished second behind the Crimson, who outdistanced the Tigers 1,615-1,389.
Princeton senior Stephanie Hsiao won the 100 freestyle after setting a pool record in the preliminaries and then anchored the winning 400-meter freestyle relay team and was named the Most Outstanding Swimmer of the meet. Hsiao won three individual events and was part of four winning relays in 2005 after winning six events a year ago.
