The Princeton women's tennis team evened its spring mark at 2-2 with a 5-0 win over St. John's Saturday afternoon at the Jadwin Gym tennis courts.
Princeton won the doubles point with easy wins at Nos. 2 and 3, then clinched the match when Ivana King won in straight sets at No. 2 singles. The final two singles matches were suspended to allow St. John's to return to campus due to winter storm conditions.
The Tigers also got singles wins from Jessica Siebel at No. 1, Joanna Roth at No. 5 and Kelly Stewart at No. 6. all in straight sets. Alison Hashmall was leading at No. 3 singles before her match was suspended.
Princeton clinched the doubles point at No. 2, when Darcy Robertson and Roth won by an 8-2 score.
Princeton is scheduled to host Seton Hall at Jadwin Gym on Sunday afternoon.
