Holly McGarvie Wins Ivy Offensive Player of the Week Honors in Women's Lacrosse

Princeton freshman midfielder Holly McGarvie has been named the Ivy League women's lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week after helping the Tigers to two wins to begin their league season this past week.
McGarvie had a season-high four goals, as well as an assist, in Princeton's 16-7 victory over Columbia on Wednesday. Her four goals came on just five shots, and she also had a team-high six draw controls in the game.
Against Cornell on Saturday, McGarvie added two more goals for the Tigers. She also had a team-high five draw controls and six ground balls in a 10-6 win over the Big Red.
McGarvie has nine goals this season while starting every game. She also leads the Tigers in both draw controls (24) and ground balls (20).
The Tigers (4-4, 2-0 Ivy) next play on Tuesday, when they travel to Temple for a non-conference game beginning at 4 p.m.
