Kalemba Named ECACH Goaltender of the Week

Princeton sophomore goaltender Zane Kalemba was named the ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week on Monday following Princeton's weekend sweep at Cornell and Colgate. Kalemba stopped 53 of 55 shots during the weekend and recorded his first collegiate shutout.
Kalemba and the Tigers started the weekend Friday at Cornell and never trailed in a 3-2 win, Princeton's first win in Ithaca since December of 1994. Kalemba made 28 saves in the win, including 11 in both the second and third periods. A day later, Kalemba was better, stopping all 25 shots he saw in a 2-0 shutout at Colgate. He made a period high 12 saves in the third period of the win.
Kalemba is now 3-0 this season with a 1.34 goals-against and a .951 save percentage.
Princeton returns to action this weekend when it hosts St. Lawrence on Friday and Clarkson on Saturday.
