Princeton Fencer Flanders to Visit Denver for Junior Olympics

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Princeton fencer Clayton Flanders is scheduled to compete in the Junior Olympics, an event for fencers under 20 held this weekend in Denver, Colo.
Flanders, a freshman, will be among 240 men's foilists at the Colorado Convention Center for his Friday competition, scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. MT. With the Tigers, Flanders has competed in every dual meet while accruing an 18-12 record, including an 8-1 day at the MIT/Brandeis Invitational Feb. 4 in which the Tigers competed against five teams.
The Tigers, who competed last weekend in the first half of the Ivy League round-robin tournament, will play the second half of that tournament next Sunday at Harvard.
