Kathleen Miller Named Ivy League Offensive Co-Player Of The Week

Princeton senior Kathleen Miller was named the Ivy League Women's Lacrosse Offensive Co-Player of the Week Monday after scoring a combined 11 points against two of the nation's top teams.
In a 13-12 overtime loss at No. 5 Maryland on Wednesday, Miller had five goals and an assist, including a goal with 55 seconds left in regulation that sent the game to overtime. Four days later, in a 12-11 win over Georgetown on Senior Day, Miller had four goals and an assist as the Tigers earned a thrilling win.
Miller's 11 points this past week give her 205 points for her career, tying her with Lauren Simone '02 for fourth all-time at Princeton. She now has 137 goals and 68 assists in four seasons.
The Alexandria, Va., native leads Princeton with 62 points and 17 assists in 2007 and is second on the team with 45 goals.
Penn's Allison Ambrozy also earned Ivy Offensive Player of the Week honors along with Miller.
The Tigers (10-6) earned their 10th consecutive NCAA tournament bid Monday night and will play at No. 3 seed Virginia (16-3) in Sunday's first round. Game time at Klockner Stadium in Charlottesville, Va., is 1 p.m.
