Taking the Show on the Road
The Princeton men's hockey team travels to New England this weekend for ECAC Hockey and Ivy League matchups at Harvard and Dartmouth. The Tigers have won nine of their last 10 games, a stretch that included sweeping Dartmouth and Harvard at Baker Rink in early January.
Last Time Out
Princeton recorded its fourth ECAC Hockey weekend sweep of the season and its second at home as it defeated Brown 3-2 and Yale 4-2.
The Brown Game
After falling behind 1-0 on a 5-on-3 goal in the second period, Princeton scored three goals early in the third period to record the 3-2 win over Brown. Freshman Cam Ritchie scored Princeton's first goal and assisted on its last in the 3-2 win.
The Yale Game
Senior Mike Moore gave Princeton a 1-0 lead a minute into Saturday's game with Yale and the Tigers never trailed in the 4-2 win. Juniors Brett Wilson and Lee Jubinville each had two points in the win.
Win 14
Princeton's win on Saturday was its 14th of the season, one shy of last year's mark of 15. Princeton's 14th win came in its 23rd game, while last season, its 14th win came in its 33rd game.
9 of 10
Princeton has won nine of its last 10 games dating back to a 5-3 win at Nebraska-Omaha on Dec. 30, 2007. In that span, Princeton's lone loss came at Union and the Tigers have outscored their opponents 37-19.
Third Period Rallies
Princeton has come from behind in the third period four times in its last 10 and nearly did it at Union. Princeton rallied from a 2-1 deficit at Nebraska-Omaha, a 1-0 deficit at home against Harvard, a 2-1 deficit at Yale and a 1-0 deficit at home against Brown. Princeton won just once last season when trailing after two periods.
In the Polls
Princeton remained in the National Polls for the fifth-straight week, climbing two sports to No. 17 in the USCHO.com poll. Princeton is also the second team receiving votes in the USA Today Poll and it is now 15th in the InsideCollegeHockey.com rankings. Princeton is also 16th in the lastest Pairwise Rankings, a ranking system that simulates the NCAA tournament selection criteria.

Princeton's win at Robert Morris was its final non-league game of the 2007-08 season. Princeton finished the year 3-4 in those games with wins at Yale, Nebraska-Omaha and Robert Morris, and losses to Quinnipiac, Minnesota State and Notre Dame (2).

Princeton vs. Harvard
Princeton and Harvard will meet for the 202nd time in their storied history on Friday night in Cambridge. The Crimson lead the all-time series 143-50-9 overall and are 69-14-4 at home.
Recent History
Princeton has won two of the last three games in the series with Harvard. The teams split last year with each team winning in its opponents building, while the Tigers took the first game this season 2-1 in January at Baker Rink. Freshman Matt Arhontas and sophomore Kevin Kaiser scored for Princeton in that win.
Scouting the Crimson
Harvard is 9-11-3 overall and 7-7-2 in the league. The Crimson last played on Monday when they lost in overtime to Boston College in the Beanpot Championship game. Harvard defeated Northeastern and Union in its two previous games.
Princeton vs. Dartmouth
Princeton trails its all-time series with Dartmouth 89-80-13 overall and the Big Green lead 39-30-7 on home ice. Princeton is 5-3-2 in its last 10 games against Dartmouth.
Recent History
Princeton carries a three-game regular season unbeaten streak against Dartmouth, taking three points last season and winning 5-2 at home earlier this season. Freshman Mike Kramer, junior Lee Jubinville, sophomore Jody Pederson and senior Landis Stankievech all had two points in the win. Dartmouth did take two playoff games from Princeton last season at home in the ECAC Quarterfinal round.
Scouting the Big Green
Dartmouth is 8-11-4 overall and 3-10-3 in ECAC Hockey. Dartmouth is winless in six games, but has tied in three of them, including a 4-4 tie at RPI and a 0-0 tie at Union last weekend.
Completing the Series
Princeton has completed its league series' against Quinnipiac, Rensselaer, Union, Brown and Yale. Princeton swept Brown and Yale, and split with the other three. The Tigers complete their series' with Harvard and Dartmouth this weekend.

Balanced Effort
Princeton offense has been balanced all season as the Tigers' 73 goals have come from 20 different skaters. In addition, 21 of Princeton's 22 skaters have registered at least one point this season.
Above .500
After starting last season 1-6-2, the Tigers finished out the season 14-10-1. With an 14-9 record this season, the Tigers are 28-19-1 over the last 48 games.
Ranked Teams
Princeton has faced five ranked teams this season and is 1-4 in those games. Princeton fell to No. 8 Clarkson 6-2, No. 18 Rensselaer 4-3 and No. 6 Notre Dame 4-2 and 7-0. Princeton's win came over No. 15 Harvard by a 2-1 score.
On the Horizon
Princeton continues its run to the postseason next weekend at home against Colgate and Cornell. Princeton swept the pair on the road the second weekend of the season.
2-Schroeder-Every Game
Sophomore defenseman Brad Schroeder is one of two Princeton players to have appeared in every game this season. Schroeder notched his second point of the season against Yale as he assisted on Brett Wilson's shorthanded goal.
3-Pederson-Defensive Point Leader
Like Brad Schroeder, sophomore Jody Pederson is the only other Tiger to appear in every game this season. Pederson had an assist on Friday against Brown and is tied for the team lead in points by a defenseman with 11.
4-Fedun-Back on Saturday
After an illness kept him out of the lineup on Friday, freshman Taylor Fedun returned to the Tiger lineup on Saturday night and recorded three shots and was a +1.
6-Jubinville-Top of the List
Junior Lee Jubinville leads Princeton with 28 points this season. He also leads the league in conference points (22) and is third in overall points, but leads in overall points per game (1.27).
7-Ritchie-Offensive Stretch
Freshman defenseman Cam Ritchie has had a hot offensive hand in the last month, recording points in five of eight games. Ritchie had a goal and an assist in Friday's 3-2 win over Brown.
9-Bartlett-Double Digits
Sophomore Dan Bartlett assisted on Mark Magnowski's goal against Brown for his 10th point of the season. That makes him the eighth Tiger to reach double digits in points this season.
10-Stankievech-Rhodes on Ice
Senior Landis Stankievech was one of three Princeton students to receive a Rhodes Scholarship. The senior from Trochu, Alberta is the second Princeton hockey player to win the award, joining Mike Spence. Stankievech netted Princeton's fourth goal in the win over Yale.
11-Pridham-Senior Season
Senior Erik Pridham has points in two of his last four games played, including a goal against Notre Dame and an assist at Nebraska-Omaha.
12-Lohry-First Goal
Freshman Kevin Lohry recorded his first collegiate goal and his first two-point game when Princeton defeated Robert Morris 5-2. He added assists in both of Princeton's win last weekend.
14-Magnowski-Game Winners
Sophomore Mark Magnowski has scored seven goals this season and four have proven to be game winners. Magnowski scored in the Brown win.
15-Godlewski-First Year
Freshman Matt Godlewski has a goal and an assist in 20 games on the Tiger blueline. His goal came against Quinnipiac.
16-Wilson-11/7
Junior Brett Wilson, Princeton's current leading career scorer, has 11 points in his last seven games, including a goal in each game last weekend. His goal against Yale was Princeton's second shorthanded goal of the season.
17-Kaiser-Birthday Boy
Sophomore Kevin Kaiser celebrated his 21st birthday in style by scoring the game-winning goal against Harvard on it. Kaiser added to his point total with an assist in the Yale win.
18-Beachell-Sophomore Season
Sophomore Tyler Beachell has a goal and an assist in 14 games played this season. His goal came against St. Lawrence.
19-Kushniruk-Back in the Lineup
Junior Brandan Kushniruk returned to the Princeton lineup last weekend after missing two games with an injury. He notched his fifth point of the season, an assist, in the Yale win.
21-Moore-Captain's Contribution
Senior Mike Moore scored Princeton's first goal in the Yale win. The senior captain is now tied for the point lead among Princeton defenseman with 11 points.
22-Kramer-Great in '08
Freshman Mike Kramer has recorded 10 of his 11 points this season since the calendar turned to 2008. Kramer has four multiple-point games in 2008, including a goal and an assist in the Union loss.
23-Shattenkirk-Two More Points
Senior Keith Shattenkirk has recorded points in his last three games. He scored in Princeton's win at RPI and had assists in the Brown and Yale wins.
25-Hagel-Game Winner
Senior Kyle Hagel netted his second goal of the season in the Yale win. The goal was the game winner.
26-Arhontas-Three in Three
Freshman Matt Arhontas recorded his first multiple point game of the season with a goal and an assist at Robert Morris. He also added an assist in the RPI win.
27-MacIntyre-Another Long Streak
Sophomore Cam MacIntyre had his second five-game point scoring streak of the season snapped on Friday. An injury held him out of the lineup on Saturday and he is questionable for the coming weekend.
28-Crane-Sophomore Season
Sophomore Kevin Crane has appeared in 11 games for Princeton this season.
30-Sychterz-Junior Season
Junior Thomas Sychterz last played in Princeton's loss at Union. He stopped both the shots he faced in 18:30 of action.
32-Kalemba-Another Win
Sophomore goaltender Zane Kalemba made 34 saves in Princeton's 4-2 win over Yale. A day earlier, he made 26 saves to top Brown.
34-Reynolds-Freshman Year
Freshman Alan Reynolds last played in Princeton's win at Nebraska-Omaha. He made 11 saves in 28 minutes of action.
