3-0 Tigers Head To Happy Valley For Meeting With Penn State

The Princeton women's lacrosse team, 3-0 for the first time since 2005 and ranked No. 4 nationally, visits No. 19 Penn State Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. in its last road game before a three-game homestand.
The Tigers, who improved to 3-0 with an impressive 13-8 win over then-No. 3 Duke last Saturday, have won in each of their last eight trips to Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions are 2-2 this season after a win over William & Mary last weekend.
Senior Katie Lewis-Lamonica scored seven goals for Princeton in the win over Duke, equalling her career high set against Temple last season. She was named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week and the InsideLacrosse.com Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts against the Blue Devils.
The Tigers have been extremely efficient offensively in their first three games, scoring on better than 52% of their shot attempts. 10 Princeton players have already scored at least one goal this season.
