Women's Tennis Wins At Cornell, 5-2, Finishes 5-2 In Ivy Play

The Princeton women's tennis team ended its season with a fourth straight win Sunday, defeating Cornell 5-2 in Ithaca to finish 5-2 in Ivy League play and 12-8 overall for the spring.
The Tigers were dominant in the top three spots in the singles lineup, clinching the match when senior Ivana King won her team-leading 13th match of the season, defeating Elizabeth Googe 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
At the No. 3 spot, freshman Taylor Marable completed a perfect 7-0 Ivy League season in singles with a 6-2, 6-1* win over Tamara John.
Playing at No. 2 singles, sophomore Melissa Saiontz beat Sinziana Chis 6-2 and 6-3. Saiontz also clinched the doubles point for Princeton, joining with Sarah Hoffman to beat Chis and Ruxandra Dumitrescu at No. 3 doubles after the first two matches were split.
