Stankievech Named to Academic All-America Men's At-Large Team

Landis Stankievech was selected to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America men's at-large second team on Tuesday. The men's hockey senior was a recipient of a Rhodes Scholarship, Princeton's Pyne Prize and the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award this season.
Stankievech excelled at Princeton in the classroom and on the ice. He has received several extraordinary academic distinctions during his Princeton career as well as several wonderful moments on the ice, including his 2005 game-winning goal against two-time defending National Champion Denver and his game-winning goal this season against Harvard in the ECAC Championship game. Stankievech was a first-team All-Region selection last month.
Stankievech is a mechanical and aerospace engineering major from Trochu, Alberta., and will attend Oxford next fall.
