McGarvie Named to US Lacrosse National Player Pool

BALTIMORE, Md. (9/12/08) - Princeton University women's lacrosse player Holly McGarvie has been selected to represent the U.S. women's national teams, it was announced by US Lacrosse in August.
McGarvie is one of 49 players that was selected after August 1-3 tryouts at UMBC.
The player pool will be divided into Elite and Developmental teams following US Lacrosse's Stars and Stripes weekend Oct. 10-13. All players are eligible to represent Team USA at the 2009 IFWLCA World Cup in Prague, Czech Republic. The final 18-player roster is expected to be announced following the US. Lacrosse Champions Challenge in January 2009.
