Senior Sheena Donohue recorded 21 kills and 18 digs, while freshman Lydia Rudnick posted 17 kills and 18 digs, to lead the Princeton women's volleyball team to a 3-1 home victory over Cornell. The win gives Princeton a Dig Pink weekend sweep, its first of the season, and moves the Tigers above the .500 mark in the Ivy League.
Princeton moved to 4-3 in Ivy League play with a 25-14, 27-29, 25-11, 25-21 victory over Cornell. The Tigers will host defending Ivy League champion Yale and Brown next weekend at Dillon Gym.
A balanced effort keyed Princeton's third straight win. While outsides Donohue and Rudnick combined for 38 kills and 32 digs, the Tigers got key contributions from other sources. Sophomore Cathryn Quinn recorded 16 kills and hit .481 for the match, while senior co-captain Taylor Carroll recorded 14 kills and 12 digs. Sophomore Michaela Venuti recorded 59 assists, while libero Hillary Ford recorded 17 digs.
