Devin Muntz, Susan Teeter And Matt Borich Join Latest TigerCast
October 29, 2009 | Football, Men's Soccer, Women's Swimming and Diving
Men's soccer senior captain Devin Muntz, women's swimming and diving head coach Susan Teeter and football assistant coach Matt Borich join the conversation in the latest edition of TigerCast.
Muntz helped lead the Princeton men's soccer team to a crucial 2-1 overtime win at No. 11 Harvard last weekend. The victory pushed Princeton to 10th in the latest national RPI and kept the Tigers alive in the Ivy League race. Muntz looks back at the win and forward to Saturday's must-win home game against Cornell.
Teeter, the highly successful head coach of women's swimming and diving, is in the unfamiliar role of the hunter this season. After winning eight of the previous nine Ivy League titles, Princeton fell to a talented Harvard team that returns plenty of tough competitors this season. Teeter talks about the work ethic she has already seen from the Tigers in the preseason and the leadership she has gotten from co-captains Alicia Aemisegger and Courtney Kilkuts.
Borich, who specifically works with the defensive line, talks about both the youth and experience at the position, including senior Joel Karacozoff and impressive freshman lineman Caraun Reid. Even NFL Hall of Famer Dick Butkus got a mention. Borich also looks ahead to the always-exciting Cornell-Princeton game Saturday at 1 p.m. on Powers Field at Princeton Stadium.
