DeJuliis Named Assistant Coach of US Development Team

BALTIMORE (11/12/09) - Princeton women's lacrosse assistant coach Michele DeJuliis has been named to the coaching staff of the US Development Team, it was announced by U.S. Lacrosse on Thursday, Nov. 12. She will serve as the team's strength and conditioning coach.
DeJuliis recently won a gold medal at the 2009 World Cup, as captain of the US Women's National Team. She has been a member of U.S. National Team program since 1994, and was an alternate on the 2005 World Cup team.
DeJuliis is in her sixth season as an assistant coach for the Tigers. While at Princeton, DeJuliis as helped the team record a 62-27 (.697) record from 2005-09 and a 28-7 Ivy League mark. The Tigers have made the NCAA Tournament in each of those five years and reaching the quarterfinal round on four occasions. In those short five years, DeJuliis has coached 12 All-America players and seen her players earn 10 Tewaaraton nominations or appearances on the Watch List.
