PRINCETON, N.J. (11/9/09) - Princeton head women's lacrosse coach Chris Sailer has announced the 2010 women's lacrosse schedule. The schedule is highlighted by the first women's lacrosse Ivy League Tournament.
The Tigers will play a total of 15 games, nine of which will be play at home at Class of 1952 Stadium. The team will face eight non-conference opponents and play five teams that were in the NCAA Tournament last season.
"I'm a big believer in playing a strong schedule - one that challenges our team to play its best game in and game out," Sailer said. "Tiger teams love battling it out against the best teams in the country. As always, we'll have to be ready to compete from the get-go, as we play many of our highest ranked opponents in the first month of our season. As a young team, we'll certainly have our work cut out for us in 2010, but we're all so excited for what lies ahead."
