Men's Tennis Wins ECAC Consolation Match over Dartmouth 5-2

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Princeton's men's tennis team won a consolation match in the ECAC Championship Saturday afternoon over Dartmouth, 5-2.
The match, hosted by Harvard, will not count toward the Ivy League standings. Each team was guaranteed two matches for the event, and Princeton lost its opener to Boston College.
Princeton used its strength at the top of the singles ladder, with Peter Capkovic, George Carpeni and Alex Vuckovic sweeping the top three spots and Carpeni, Ryan Kim, Ilya Trubov and Yohei Shoji teaming to win at second and third doubles to claim that point. Ravi Yegya-Raman also added a singles win.
The Tigers will host five straight home matches beginning Feb. 28 against St. John's.
