February 07, 2009 | Women's Tennis
DURHAM, N.C. -- Indiana used the doubles point and some wins lower on the singles ladder to squeak by the Princeton women's tennis team 4-3 Saturday at a Duke-hosted event.
Freshmen Hilary Bartlett and Lauren McHale teamed to post a win at first doubles and then went on to win at first and second singles, respectively, but Blakely Ashley at fifth singles was the only Tiger to win otherwise.
Indiana was ranked No. 30 in Division I in the latest ITA rankings, which came out Feb. 3, while the Tigers were No. 3. Princeton will meet No. 9 Duke Sunday at noon.
