Princeton senior Brad Gemberling became the second Princeton player selected in the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft when the Arizona Diamondbacks chose him in the 24th round with the 726th pick on Wednesday afternoon.
Gemberling was 5-3 as a senior for the Tigers with a 6.67 ERA in 55.1 innings of work. An honorable mention All-Ivy selection, Gemberling struck out 73 batters this season for an average of 11.88 strikeouts per nine innings which ranked ninth in all of Division I.
