Women's Swimming/Diving Welcomes 10 To Class Of 2013
June 02, 2009 | Women's Swimming and Diving
The Princeton women's swimming and diving team, winners of nine of the last 11 Ivy League titles and coming off an 18th-place finish at the 2009 NCAA Championships, will welcome 10 members into the Class of 2013 this fall. Several talented swimmers and a pair of divers will have the unenviable task of replacing the talented members of the graduated Class of 2009.
"We are excited to have the Class of '13 join this great tradition we've built at Princeton," head coach Susan Teeter said. "I know they will all be excited to help continue the excellence we have become known for over the years."
The immediate goal for the Class of 2013 will be helping Princeton regain the Ivy League title, which Harvard won in 2009. They will join a squad that will be led by co-captains Alicia Aemisegger and Courtney Kilkuts, who combine to hold more than half of Princeton's individual swimming records and have won 13 individual Ivy League titles in 18 tries.
