McGarvie and DeJuliis Go for the Gold on Saturday

PRAGUE, Czech Republic (6/25/09) ? As members of the US World Cup Team, senior women's lacrosse player Holly McGarvie and assistant coach Michele DeJuliis, will play in the Gold Medal Game on Saturday, June 27 against Australia.
In one of the most explosive offensive games, the US routed England, 20-3, in the semifinals on Thursday, June 25. McGarvie scored a goal and DeJuliis had a goal and an assist each.
In pool play, the Americans came back from a 5-0 deficit to take a 10-9 game from the Australians.
This is the eight consecutive trip to the World Cup final for the US. The US is looking to regain the title from Australia, who won the last World Cup in 2005.
