Navy Tops Princeton 13-7 in ECAC Title Game

The game was close through three quarters before Navy pulled away in the final frame. Navy led 2-1 after a quarter and the teams were tied 4-4 at the half. In the third quarter, the team's traded goals before Navy went on a three-goal scoring streak to gain an 8-5 lead. Princeton used a pair of man-advantage goals to move within one at 8-7, but that would be the last goal the Tigers scored on the afternoon as Navy closed the game by scoring the last five goals.
Princeton is now 4-4 overall and returns to action next Saturday with a CWPA Southern Division game at Bucknell. The Tigers host George Washington next Sunday.
