Women's Lacrosse Hosts JMU in Wednesday Afternoon Match

PRINCETON, N.J. (3/15/10) - The Princeton women's lacrosse team will host two opponents during the week, beginning with James Madison on Wednesday, March 17 at 2 p.m.
The game will be webstreamed on GoPrincetonTigers.tv for subscribers and live audio and live stats will be available free of charge.
Princeton returns home after a 16-6 win over Brown on Saturday in the Ivy League opener. The Tigers are 2-2 overall and are looking for their first win at their new home, Princeton Stadium. Princeton averages 10.75 goals per game and its opponents are scoring 10.00 per game. Junior Lizzy Drumm has scored 12 goals and four assists for 16 points, and senior Kristin Morrison has nine goals and four assist for 13 points. Freshman Charlotte Davis and sophomore Barb Previ each have four assists to go along with five an two goals, respectively. Six other Tigers have three or more points. Junior goalie Erin Tochihara has started all four games and has made 31 saves on 67 shots for an 11.10 goals against average and a .463 save percentage. Senior Kaitlyn Perrelle has played a little less than 50 minutes and has made five saves on nine shots for a 4.96 GAA and a .556 save percentage.
Princeton holds a 10-1 edge in the all-time series with James Madison. The Tigers have won the last two meetings including a 13-11 victory in Harrisonburg. The Dukes lone win was a 9-8 overtime game in 1997.
James Madison is 5-0 overall, defeating Virginia Tech, George Washington, Yale and Fairfield, Richmond. The Dukes are averaging 14 goals per game and holding opponents to 5.60 goals. Senior Kim Griffin is the team's leading scorer with 15 goals and four assists. Freshman Casey Ancarrow has 15 points on 10 goals and five assists, while sophomore Ariel Lane has 13 points. Junior Mary Kate Lomady has scored 11 goals and one assist and sophomore Monica Zabel has a team-high six assists and five goals for 12 points. Senior Morgan Kelly has started all five games in goal for James Madison and has made 27 saves on 51 shots for a 5.17 goals against average and a .529 save percentage. Freshmen Alisa Konishi is the back up goalie and has made four saves and allowed four goals in a little more than 21 minutes.
