North Carolina State Tops No. 28 Women's Tennis, 4-1

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- No. 28 Princeton fell 4-1 to 40th-ranked North Carolina State in a women's tennis match played Wednesday afternoon at the College of Charleston.
The loss ends a streak of six straight victories over fellow ranked opponents a day after the Tigers toppled No. 58 College of Charleston, 4-3.
N.C. State took the doubles point with wins at second and third. A matchup of two ranked pairs, No. 19 Hilary Bartlett and Taylor Marable for Princeton and No. 42 Berkeley Brock and Sandhya Nagaraj for N.C. State went unfinished. Princeton's point came from Taylor Marable, who had a 6-3, 6-1 win over Daria Petrovic at fourth singles.
Princeton will return home for a five-match homestand beginning Saturday against Penn State.
