Women's Basketball, Men's Volleyball Coaches Join Latest TigerCast
March 18, 2010 | Men's Volleyball, Women's Basketball
Courtney Banghart, head coach of the 2010 Ivy League women's basketball champion Princeton Tigers, and Sam Shweisky, head coach of the resurgent men's volleyball team, join the latest edition of TigerCast.
Banghart led Princeton to an Ivy League record 26 victories this season, and the Tigers earned an Ivy-best 11-seed in the 2010 NCAA tournament. Princeton will open Saturday at 12:21 against sixth-seed St. John's (ESPN2) in Tallahassee, Fla. Prior to the trip, Banghart talked about the amazing season, St. John's and her own memories of playing in the NCAA tournament.
Shweisky has overseen a strong move forward by the men's volleyball team, which has won three straight division matches by matching 3-2 scores. The Tigers moved from sixth to second in the division and have the reigning EIVA Player of the Week in freshman Pat Schwagler.
