Women's Golf Defeats Columbia in Dual Match

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Princeton's women's golf team took a three-shot victory, 323-326, over Columbia in a one-round dual match at Spook Rock Golf Club Saturday in Suffern, N.Y. as the Ivy League Championship tournament draws closer.
The teams finished third and fourth at last year's Ivy, and this year's will take place April 23-25 at Baltusrol Golf Club. Princeton will return to Spook Rock next Friday and Saturday to participate in Columbia's Roar-EE Invitational.
Wonji Choi paced Princeton Saturday with a 78, one shot ahead of Olivia Garard's 79, while Anna Jang (81) and Michelle Grilli (85) rounded out the Tigers' scoring four. Kate Scarpetta (86) was Princeton's fifth, while Tiffany Dong (77), Maggie Boberg (80) and Rachel Blum (82) played as individuals.
For Columbia, Stevy Loy had a match-low 76, ahead of Jennifer Adyorough (83), Robin Lee (83), Lynda Kwon (84), and Allison Oakes (88). Columbia's individuals were Nancy Shon (76), Jasmine Chean (77) and Ashley Zambito (91).
