April 09, 2010 | Men's Tennis
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Harvard stopped the Princeton men's tennis team's perfect start to the Ivy season Friday afternoon when the Crimson downed the Tigers 5-2 in Cambridge.
Princeton was 3-0 in the Ivy for the first time since 2001 heading into the weekend, but the Crimson got on top early. Harvard cleared the doubles point on the help of a tiebreak victory at first over Yohei Shoji and Matt Siow.
Siow and Matija Pecotic had Princeton's singles victories at fourth and second, respectively. The Tigers will look to rebound with a noon start Saturday at Dartmouth.
