Women's Swimming/Diving Class Ranked 13th Nationally
July 09, 2010 | Women's Swimming and Diving
Head coach Susan Teeter knew she would have to make a big move to replace the powerful 1-2 punch that recently graduated from Princeton. According to CollegeSwimming.com, Teeter was able to bring in the kind of class that will hopefully continue a legacy that includes nine of the last 11 Ivy League championships.
When 2009-10 co-captains Alicia Aemisegger and Courtney Kilkuts ended their Princeton careers last season, some might have thought the Tiger swimming and diving program would come back to the pack. But Teeter felt strongly about the incoming Class of 2014, and clearly she isn't alone. You can read CollegeSwimming.com's ratings here, where Princeton is ranked ahead of programs like Georgia, Indiana and Penn State.

"We're very excited to be ranked highly by CollegeSwimming.com," Teeter said. "The Ivy League gets better and better each year, so we know we'll have to be at our best to continue our run of excellence over the last decade. I have high hopes for this incoming class and am excited for them to become members of the Princeton Swimming and Diving family."
The newest members of the program will get an early taste of the Ivy League excitement; DeNunzio Pool will serve as host of the 2012 Ivy League championship meet. Last season, Princeton reclaimed the league crown with a thrilling 27-point victory over Harvard. It was Princeton's third title in four seasons and its ninth in 11.
