Men's Water Polo Team Tops Johns Hopkins 14-7

Princeton avenged a loss at Johns Hopkins early in the season and remained in a first-place tie atop the CWPA Southern Division standings with the win.
The Tigers raced to a 4-1 lead after a quarter and extended the lead to 8-2 by the half. Tim Wenzlau, Drew Hoffenberg and Kayj Shannon all scored three times in the win. Wenzlau, who scored four goals on Friday at Bucknell, added three assists to go along with his three goals. Chris Cottrell had a team-best three steals.
The Tigers scored once on three man-up chances, while Hoffenberg converted on a 5-meter shot. Hopkins scored on three of five chances and one 5-meter shot. Tyler Amina made eight saves in the win.
Princeton is now 13-7 overall and 4-2 in the Southern Division. Princeton hosts Navy on Sunday night.
