Women's Swimming & Diving Earns 31 All-Ivy League Honors
March 11, 2011 | Women's Swimming and Diving
The Princeton women's swimming and diving team, which went wire-to-wire to win the 2011 Ivy League Championship at DeNunzio Pool, earned 31 All-Ivy League honors, including 24 first-team selections.
Each of Princeton's three major award winners were also first-team All-Ivy League selections. Senior Megan Waters, the Ivy League Championships Swimmer of the Meet, earned seven first-team honors, which is the maximum a swimmer can earn. She won individual titles in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly, and she helped Princeton to wins in both the 200 and 400 free relays and the 200 and 400 medley relays.
Freshman Rachel Zambrowicz, the Ivy League Championships Diver of the Meet, won the 1-meter diving competition, while senior Carolyn Littlefield, the High Career Point Diver, won her first Ivy title in the 3-meter competition.
A total of nine Tigers earned first-team All-Ivy honors; a full list can be found below.
