Princeton leads the all-time series with Harvard 24-16, which dates back to 1974 when Harvard's women's school was known as Radcliffe. The Crimson snapped a 17-game losing streak in the series last year with an 11-9 win on their home turf, their first win in the series since 1992. The Tigers are 14-5 when hosting the Crimson.

Senior Kristin Morrison and sophomore Cassie Pyle both recorded hat tricks as Princeton tried to rebound from a five-goal deficit but ran out of time as Harvard posted an 11-9 win at Harvard Stadium.
Morrison put the Tigers on the scoreboard first when she converted on the team's third eight-meter attempt at 27:35. Harvard responded with an eight-meter goal less than a minute later and scored on a Princeton turnover at 21:04 to take the 2-1 lead. Freshman Jenna Davis picked up a feed from Maisie Devine to make it a 2-2 game at 18:51.

Fifty-nine seconds into the second half the Crimson struck again. Ten minutes later both teams had scored two goals, Princeton getting both from Pyle. An eight-meter goal by Danielle Tetreault at 19:31 gave Harvard a 10-5 lead.
Princeton started to come back scoring four of the game's final five goals in the last 10 minutes. Morrison had the Tigers' last offensive chance with 20 seconds left but the shot went wide and Harvard got possession for the remainder.
Junior Erin Tochihara made 12 stops in goal for Princeton, while Harvard's Katherine Martino made seven saves.
Princeton had a 27-26 edge in shots but Harvard had more on target, 23-16. The Crimson was slightly out ahead in ground balls, 13-12 and draw controls, 12-10.
