Men's Hockey Honors Seniors and Award Winners at Annual Banquet

The first award presented on the night was the Tucker Ironman Award, presented annually to that member of the Princeton Varsity Hockey Team who best exemplifies the Ironman spirit through his off-season preparation, commitment to conditioning and overall physical endurance. Seniors Mike Kramer and Alan Reynolds shared the award with Reynolds becoming the first goaltender to earn the award, which has now been given out for the past seven seasons.
The Hobey Baker Trophy was presented to freshman forward Andrew Calof. The trophy is awarded annually to the team's freshman hockey player who, among his classmates, in play, sportsmanship and influence has contributed most to the sport, and has been handed out in each since 1950. Calof led all Tigers with nine goals and 24 assists for 33 points in his rookie season. He was named the ECAC and Ivy League Rookies of the Year. His win snaps a three-year run for freshman defenders winning the award.
Princeton captain Taylor Fedun was the recipient of the 1941 Championship Trophy and the Blackwell Trophy, which is annually awarded to that member of the Princeton varsity hockey team who in play, sportsmanship and influence has contributed most to the sport. He 1941 Trophy is presented annually to that varsity player who best reflected the winning spirit of the 1941 championship team and in so doing was an inspiration to his teammates. Fedun had 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points on his way to first-team All-ECAC and second-team All-America honors. He finished his collegiate career with 68 points to rank second all-time among defensemen at Princeton.
Next came the presentation of the the Richard Vaughan Cup is awarded annually to that varsity player who best exemplifies perseverance and dedication to Princeton Hockey. The award was presented to senior Sam Sabky, who joined the team as a freshman walk-on and went on to appear in 79 games for Princeton over his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
The night concluded with words from each of the eight members of Princeton's graduating class - Fedun, Cam Ritchie, Sabky, Matt Godlewski, Kevin Lohry, Kramer, Matt Arhontas and Reynolds.
