The Princeton women's swimming and diving team continued its incredible run of success with another Ivy League title to cap the 2010-11 season. Highlights from the past season, including Princeton's thrilling rally to win the Ivy League title in the 400 free relay, as well as a collection of memories from the Tigers' 10 titles in the last 12 years can now be seen on GoPrincetonTigers.TV.
The 2011 Ivy League champion Princeton women's swimming and diving team earned a pair of extra team honors at the end of the season. Princeton was named the CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major Dual Meet Champion, and it also earned Scholar All-America status by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
Princeton, which will enter the 2011-12 season riding a 38-meet win streak in regular season dual competition, jumped from No. 2 to the top spot in the final Mid-Major poll with 263.7 points, while Towson finished second with 261.5 points. Princeton swept through its regular season, with its most impressive performance coming in a full meet sweep of both Harvard and Yale during the annual H-Y-P meet in New Haven.
The Tigers completed their team season with a wire-to-wire victory at the 2011 Ivy League Championship meet, held in DeNunzio Pool. Princeton earned 31 individual All-Ivy League honors in winning its 10th league title in 12 years. Senior Megan Waters, whose final 100 caught Harvard in that 400 free relay, was named the Ivy League Swimmer of the Meet, while freshman Rachel Zambrowicz was named the Ivy League Diver of the Meet. Senior Carolyn Littlefield, who won her first career Ivy League title during Friday's championship session, earned the Career High Point Diver honor.
