PRINCETON, N.J. (4/25/11) – The Princeton women's lacrosse team will host Columbia in the final Ivy League game of the season on Wednesday, April 27 at 7 p.m., at Princeton Stadium. The game was rescheduled after the teams played nearly 40 minutes on March 23 before the game was called due to a storm.*

Princeton enters Wednesday's game with a 7-6 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the Ivy League to sit in fourth place in the league standings. One week ago today, Princeton knocked off Penn 11-7, ending the Quakers 34-game league win streak that dated back to 2006. However, the Tigers couldn't keep up the mometum, falling 15-10 at Dartmouth three days later.
Senior Lizzy Drumm leads the team in scoring with 33 points on 31 goals and two assists. Sophomore Jaci Gassaway has 31 points on 21 goals and a team-best 10 assists. Junior Cassie Pyle led Princeton with a seven-point week last week to accumulate 23 goals and six assists for 29 points. Sophomore Charlotte Davis adds 21 points. Senior Erin Tochihara has played in every minute in goal and has made 113 saves and allowed 132 goals for a .461 save percentage and a 10.08 goals against average.
Princeton is undefeated against Columbia with a 13-0 record. The series began in 1998, a 17-1 win at Columbia. The Tigers have outscored the Lions 211-47 in the series.
Columbia is 4-9 overall and is 1-5 in the Ivy League. The Lions lone league win was a 10-3 game against Yale. Columbia most recently dropped a 15-9 game at Harvard on Saturday. Columbia had a one-goal lead at halftime and was up by three with 23 minutes left, but a nine-goal Harvard run gave the Crimson the game. The Lions average 9.62 goals per game and are allowing 10.76. Sophomore Kacie Johnson sits atop the scoring column with 34 goals and 18 assists for 52 points. Junior Taylor Gattinella has 31 points on 23 goals and eight assists. Senior Gabrielle Geronimos and sophomore Olivia Mann provide 25 and 24 points, respectively. Junior goalie Karlee Blank has been in net every minute and has made 144 saves while allowing 142 goals for a .503 save percentage and a 10.76 goals against average.
