deButts Earns WomensLax.com All-America Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/27/11) - Junior defender Lindsey deButts of the Princeton women's lacrosse team has been named to the 2011 WomensLax.com All-America team, it was announced by the Web site on Thursday, May 26.
A native of Alexandria, Va., deButts was named first-team All-Ivy League one month ago. She helped to guide the Tigers to the 2011 Ivy League Tournament Championship and the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament as the Tigers' top defender. deButts led the team in caused turnovers with 31, ranking her second in the league. Her team-high 41 ground balls ranks her third amongst the Ivies. deButts finished the season second on the team in draw controls with 24.
