Women's Lacrosse Draws JMU in NCAA Tournament

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/8/11) - The Princeton women's lacrosse team will take on No. 8 James Madison in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, May 14 at 1 p.m., in Harrisonburg, Va.
The Tigers are the top unseeded team in the 16-team tournament.
"We are really excited to win the Ivy League Tournament and be back in the NCAA Tournament," head coach Chris Sailer said. "We're looking forward to playing JMU again, we think it wiill be a great match up. We've grown so much as a team since we played JMU in March, and we're expecting a very competitive game."
Princeton earned the Ivy League automatic bid to the tournament. The Tigers return to the tournament after a one-year reprieve. This is Princeton's 19th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, the third most appearances by a team. The Tigers are 30-16 in the tournament and have won three national titles in 1994, 2002 and 2003.
