Men's Soccer Receives Votes in CSN Preseason Poll

The Princeton men's soccer team is receiving votes in the 2011 College Soccer News Preseason National Poll, it was announced by the Web site on August 3. The defending Ivy League Champion returns five starters from a squad that went 13-4-1 and undefeated in the Ivy League to make its second straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
The 2011 national runner up Louisville is the favorite, with national champion Akron ranked fourth with UCLA and North Carolina in between.
The Tigers will play three teams that are ranked in the top 30: Brown (10), Monmouth (27) and Furman (30) and four teams receiving votes including non-conference opponents Georgetown and College of Charleston. All seven of those games will be played on the road.
Princeton opens the 2011 campaign on September 2, at the Nike/Aaron Olitsky Memorial Classic at the College of Charleston.
