Women's Lacrosse Hosts Two Fall Tournaments

PRINCETON, N.J. (9/16/11) - The Princeton women's lacrosse team will host two fall tournaments during the month of October. The first is Sunday, Oct. 2 and the second is Saturday, Oct. 15. Both will be held at Princeton Stadium and admission to all events is free. To kick off the fall season the Tigers will have an alumnae game on Saturday, Oct. 1 at Princeton Stadium.
"We're excited to be hosting two tournaments at Princeton Stadium this fall, and to be bringing in such quality competition to scrimmage against the Tigers," head coach Chris Sailer said. "Our fall events are always great learning opportunities for our players, a chance for us to transfer the skills and tactics we've been focusing on in practice to game situations. Playing so many different teams, all with different strengths and styles, will test our ability to make adjustments on the field of play and help us prepare for the spring. For players and coaches, nothing beats the thrill of competition, and we will get a lot of that this fall. We invite all of our fans to come out to Princeton Stadium and get an early look at the 2012 Tigers."
